New Springs for the Flat Box!

We have noticed that the pressure plate springs on flat boxes can sometimes cause difficulty when opening the pressure plate (lid). The old springs had to flex to allow the full opening of the lid, and usually you had to assist in making them flex. Quite often, you ran out of hands.
Not any more!
The new springs allow easy opening of the lid, without any hindrance from the springs.
By incorporating an extended loop at one end, the spring can extend past the spring hanger when you open the lid, yet still function normally when the lid is closed.

The Tapepro Flat Boxes apply joint compound to all flat recess or butt joints, automatically crowning the joint and feathering out the edges.
Tapepro Flat Boxes are high capacity, and designed for a long life with the pressure plate lid mounted to an axle running on nylon bearings. This also provides a more accurate arc of travel to ensure a positive seal is maintained. The boxes are made from 2.5mm thick anodised marine grade aluminium plates, which are peened together for increased strength, and longer life.
The wheels are mounted on a fixed axle for more rigidity and run inside the width of the blade, allowing a better finish, especially on butt joints.
